Hear David Watson, author of Against the Megamachine and Beyond Bookchin: Preface for a Future Social Ecology, read an essay from a work-in-progress on the Balkan wars, nationalism, and genocide. Watson published a number of outstanding interventions into debates around the wars in Bosnia-Hezegovina and Kosovo in Fifth Estate, New Internationalist, and elsewhere. This reading was recorded in October 2008 at a ceremony at Cranbrook Schools at which Watson received an award for excellence in teaching and writing.
